Lumbini, the Birthplace of the Lord Buddha, is the holiest pilgrimage to the adherents of Buddhism. Lumbini Buddhist University was established in 2061 BS in such holy land to impart pristine Buddhist education that consolidates Buddhist philosophy, literature, wisdom, cultural sentiments, teaching, and in-depth research. Its mission is to educate the People of Nepal and enrich the global learning community by applying core Buddhist values and promoting World Peace from Nepal.
In the 8th Episode of SONSIK Common Forum, SONSIK has invited Professor Dr. Hridaya Ratna Bajracharya, Vice-Chancellor of Lumbini Buddhist University Nepal. Dr. Bajracharya started his academic career as school math and science teacher from 2029BS. He worked as Executive Director from 2054 BS to 2063 as a researcher in the Research Center for Educational Innovation and Development (CERID).
